
The SIRSI reports module is organised into a number of general groups of reports and is further broken down to more specific report types within each group. You can use these reports as they are but you can also tailor a basic report to meet your specific requirements.
All SIRSI reports fall into the following categories:
Count: This report type
answers the question " How many meets the criteria". Examples are Count titles,
Count items
Housekeeping: This report
type makes changes on the existing system. These reports are
password protected and are only to be used by the Systems Librarian and or
authorised Learning Commons staff.
Import/Export: This report
type introduces or extracts information from the system. An example of this
report is Load bibliographic records. This report type is password protected and
only to be used by the Systems Librarian
List: This report type
answers the question "Which one meets the criteria". This report type can
be customized to meets your needs. Examples of this report are List
bibliography, List items
Notice: This report type
answers the question "Who needs what information sent to them". It selects
the users to receive the information. Examples of this report are student
and staff notices.
Remove: This report type
permanently removes information from the system. This report is password
protected and must be used with caution. Examples of this report are Remove
users
Statistics: This report type produces tables of statistical information. Examples of this report are Loan statistics, Average price of books.

Bibliographic
report
The List Bibliography report is designed to create customized subject
bibliographic reports. To design the report, your preferred search terms
are entered in the search field. The report can be further customised with
the use of standard Boolean Operators and Qualifiers. Additionally,
you may limit the bibliographic search by selecting the item type of the
records. The report can be viewed, edited and printed.
User/History report
The User/History report produces a report based on a user's borrowing
history. The report also produces information on the history of an
item.
