Information Commons’ Manual Handling guide.

This guide is designed to provide you, as an IC (Information Commons) staff member with a clear understanding of how to carry out tasks in order to minimise occupational health and safety risks to yourself and to other IC staff.

The guide does not seek to provide comprehensive coverage of all aspects relating to Occupational Health and Safety legislation, but utilises information from these areas to ensure that it covers all tasks performed in the IC where OH & S is an issue.

Please ensure that you are familiar with the contents of this Guide, so that your working life within the IC is safe and productive.
