This web site is produced by the Access Information Centre at the Alfred,  situated at the Alfred Hospital. It provides information on the HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections. It also provides information on safe drug use, including support services, fact sheets and basic information.
Alcohol and other Drugs Council of Australia (ADCA) The main national, non-government organisation representing the interests of the alcohol and other drugs field. Provides useful links to current policy on drugs and alcohol, current initiatives etc.

Australian National Council on Drugs The ANCD was formed as a concept of partnership between government and non-government in the field of alcohol and other drug services and policy. The Council also represents a  partnership of individuals with wide ranging skills, experience and views.
Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority This website is produced by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) and provides information on drugs and sports. This includes drug testing, drug information, status of medications and prohibited substances, media releases, statistics and useful links.

Kids Helpline This website is produced by the Kids Help Line and is intended mainly for children. However it does provide statistical information and Infosheets on the type of problems facing children and why they ring the Help Line. These Infosheets are provided to inform adults and deal with issues including suicide, bullying, family relationships, and sexual preferences.
National drug strategy Website devoted to the National Drug Strategy. Extensive range of full text of articles, papers, policies and strategies.
National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre The National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC) was established and funded by the Commonwealth Government as part of the National Drug Strategy. Full text reports, links to International and Australian centres, government and non government agencies, drug information and statistics are all available on this website.
National Institute on Drug Abuse NIDA's aim is to apply science to the problems of drug abuse and addiction. Firstly, NIDA supports research across a broad range of disciplines. Secondly, NIDA aims to ensure the rapid and effective dissemination and use of the results of that research to improve drug abuse, and improve addiction prevention, treatment, and policy.

Turning Point : Alcohol and Drug Centre Turning Point is a specialist alcohol and drug organisation integrating treatment and support service delivery with research, education and training. Provides full text articles from their newsletter, feature stories and research projects. 
Vic Health Provides full text articles on substance misuse and tobacco control.
Victorian Government Health Services: Drug & Alcohol This section of the Department of Human Services' website provides information on the services designed to assist people with a drug problem. It also provides information about drugs and their effects, and has links to external sites.
Youth Substance and Abuse Service This is the website of the Youth Substance and Abuse Service which provides drug and alcohol services for people aged between 12 and 21 experiencing significant problems related to their drug use. The site mainly provides information on their services but does have a few links to other youth and drug related services.
