SAFETY
Kidsafe - The Child Accident Prevention Foundation Of Australia An independent non-profit organisation dedicated to preventing unintentional death and injury of children. This site contains information sheets on various topics such as road safety, running and injury prevention, toy safety, poisoning prevention and internet safety.
Road Safety
Arrive alive
Arrive alive is the State Government's transport safety policy. This covers issues of traffic safety education including bicycle education and a traffic safety newsletter. Also provides links to key Victorian traffic support agencies such as TAC, VicRoads, Victorian Police & RACV.
Sun Safety
SunSmart
Provides sun protection advice to many groups within the community. Includes various SunSmart fact sheets, skin cancer statistics and treatment, and government initiatives.

Fire Safety
Fire Protection Association Australia
Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) is the nation's largest organisation seeking to promote fire awareness and the work of the fire protection industry. This web site contains general information on fire protection.
Metropolitan Fire Brigade The Metropolitan Fire Brigade site provides information on school fire safety programs, community education, as well as links to other publications and resources.
Victorian Urban Fire Brigades Association Inc. The Victorian Urban Fire Brigades Association has the responsibility of representing Victoria's 10,000 urban volunteer fire fighters in their dealings with the Country Fire Authority in regard to welfare and efficiency.
Country Fire Authority The Country Fire Authority works to identify communities at risk and assist them to become more self reliant in fire prevention strategies. The CFA is highly regarded for its community education awareness programs. Their site details their work and history, as well as providing information on the current status of burning fires.

Baby Swimming Adults have the responsibility to protect small children, who lack the cognitive ability to discern danger and are curious and impulsive explorers, from entering any body of water unsupervised. This site helps with recognition of the dangers and awareness of preventive measures.
AUSTSWIM AUSTSWIM is the Australian Council for the Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety, and is a non-profit organisation. It has a branch in each state and territory of Australia. This page consists of brief information on children and swimming.
