Australia's national agency for health and welfare statistics This is a rich source of information on a range of topics in the fields of health, housing and community services in Australia.
Australian Social Science data archive Includes data relating to social, political and economic affairs.
Australian Stock Exchange  This site provides access to documents relating to the ASX's operations and includes the Annual Report and yearly statistical fact file and historical data.
Bureau of Tourism The BTR's mission is to provide independent, accurate, timely and strategically relevant statistics and analyses to the tourism industry, government and the community at large in order to enhance the contribution of tourism to the well-being of the Australian community.

Know your Area - Department of Infrastructure Know Your Area provides data about the people of an area and how they live. At present, it has current data relating to: population, land housing, employment, other facts about Local Government areas, links to DOI projects, local councils etc.
