Overdue and Fines
Late return of loans are subject to fines and may lead to suspension
of borrowing and computer privileges.
Fines do not accrue on days the Learning Commons is closed.
Fines for overdue items are:

Fines stop accruing from the day items are returned. If items are not
returned, students will be charged replacement costs and handling
fees, plus overdue fines.
Lost items
Borrowers will be required to pay the replacement cost for lost items, as well as a $10.00 non-refundable
processing fee per item plus fines.
Failure to pay for lost or damaged materials may result in the
suspension of borrowing and computer privileges.
Withholding of Results
Students who have outstanding fines or overdue items may have their results
withheld and be prevented from completing their re-enrolment until
the problem is addressed.
