Information Commons Holmesglen Institute of TAFE

Information literacy is the ability to access, evaluate and use information effectively. It includes knowing how to use Information Commons resources necessary for coursework and being able to gather and analyse information for research purposes. In the workplace and in daily life, well-developed information skills are considered invaluable.

The Information Commons offers sessions which are designed to provide students with a detailed understanding of the research process and the variety of available resources both within the Information Commons and online.
